LIESELOTTE / BAGGER  Split LP

2 Swiss bands completely new to this 'ere tin-eared and tin-pot reviewer. 11 tracks from the slow and chuggy/breakneck thrash of French-speaking LIESELOTTE, kinda go down the same hellshute as FASTARD or early E.N.T. (growly monster vocals,                               accompanied by the sore-throat goblin shriek). However, things start getting REALLY weird with the German-speaking BAGGER side! A dual gender-vocalled DISAFFECT/JOBBYKRUST/FLEAS & LICE barrage of harcdcore punk anguish (actually, they really are like DISAFFECT!), where the lyric sheet has pictures rather than words to                                 illustrate their point… But also… their side of the LP plays backwards - or rather, more accurately, INSIDE-OUT. 10 storming tracks which begin at what would normally be the end of the last track (if you see what I mean?). You starts at the end and it plays back to the 'beginning' (outside) of that side… You'll know when you try, but it does your head in! Worth for the gimmick alone, but BAGGER rocks!
